This was from the final 2 tables of the Big $27.50 (7.5K) on stars. di_sancho is 16/13 over 96 hands and Ricardo4473 is fairly new to the table and hasn't been involved in a pot for about an orbit since he got here.

Poker Stars $25.00+$2.50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament – t2400/t4800 Blinds + t600 – 7 players

Hero (UTG): BB = 32.3, t154918
di_sancho (UTG+1): BB = 21.1, t101339
Rikardo29 (MP): BB = 57.7, t276991
try_n_buy (CO): BB = 29.5, t141554
ricardo4473 (BTN): BB = 12.8, t61596
serleycon (SB): BB = 97.7, t468929
nobre13 (BB): BB = 10.9, t52251

Pre Flop: (t11400) Hero is UTG with J of hearts J of spades
Hero raises to t9600, di_sancho calls t9600, 2 folds, ricardo4473 raises to t60996 all in, 2 folds

 Hero ??

Re-jamming is the only way I can think to play it.

Reshove over the squeeze. If the villain that flatted your open has a monster and is looking to set up a squeeze then nice hand, but in many cases you will see middle pairs to aj/aq.

yep, jamming seems standard, if you ran into a bigger hand then cooler

OK thanks for the feedback. At the time I was concerned that I was racing at best and crushed at worst if the flat call was from a big hand. So I did fold and as it happened the shove was AK and the flat was KK. But I think you are right, I was uneasy with my decision at the time and think I was giving too much credit to them. So I managed to avoid a cooler in the end but I agree that I should have got it in.

Yeah a flat from that stack is always a red flag especially from ep. I would sharkscope/opr w/e the flatter and see if his stats show he is a reg and capable of setting up a squeeze there. With no info I am shipping over the squeezer like stated above. If he has it, its a cooler. If he is a random he is flatting mid pairs, kqs, aj etc. Sick getaway tho 🙂
