i dont really see value in betting out here as he'll only be folding a small portion of the hands he 3bet pre like QQ and maybe or maybe not KK.

i may be on the nitty side but i'm probably just check folding here, some might check call flop and evaluate turn but again if we do get to showdown it's unlikely we have the best hand..

i dont see the need to play a big pot so early and OOP

Also never 4betting pre for the same reasons, early, no reads, OOP and we might not even get to see a flop if he comes back over the top

this situation calls for the ol' flop a set and double up or move onto the next hand

I ch/f if MP2 bets just bec it's so early and 3 way – bb could still ch/r. If it was two way, I think ch/f on A flop (if u dont have one) in a 3bet pot is too exploitable and will hurt your chances of getting action when u do.

i think its definitely a bet-fold on that flop. gotta represent the AK yourself and not let any pocket pair just get a free 3bet pot from you.

hmmm after thinking about the aussie guys suggestions, maybe bet folding is a better strategy..

This way the hands that beat us like QQ,KK would likely fold, the hands that could catch up like 99,TT and KQs would fold.

But if we follow the tight guy hapetimes advice, we will NEVER beat these hands by check folding will we?

99,TT,KQs,QQ and KK all win with a Cebt (pretty much his entire 3bet range)

guess it's just a matter of how nitty we are

*note to self: dont just give up if you dont flop a set*

And if floated are you just giving up after that if we don't hit a Jack?

giving that the big blind cold called the 3bet oop, i'd put him on AK, 1010+ or prolly QQ+. They're could be smaller pairs and maybe even AQ/AJ in his range, seeing this is a $4 tourny and people cold flat 3bets w/ hands you shouldnt be doing that w/.

I'd prolly just c/f here. There's a big chance one of the two players has an ace or might find it difficult to fold KK/QQ. You could bet the flop, but you'll have to shut down once you're called.

So i'd just setmine since the 3bet is small and it's three way.

these are the stakes i regularly play (as well as slightly higher), and i can honestly say that i pretty much never get floated. very rare anyway.
