i got a hand for ya from a $6 $500 gtd on the revolution network. im sitting with 10k in chips with 17 people left i think i was 7th in chips when this hand came up. just got transferd to a new table into the cutoff position. blinds are 150/300 with a 30 ante.

utg raise to 600(has around 5k)

gets 3 callers before it gets to me(one with a 9k stack, one with 3k, the other with 7k)

i have AQ off in the cutoff i reraise and make it 2100.(thought about jamming)

button folds, both blinds fold, utg folds, next folds and i get 2 callers. pot is around 7k

flop 6T6 rainbow,

first to act leads out for 3k(9k stck), next to act folds(7k stck) and its on me, with this board it is really hard to believe he has any of that considering the preflop action. unless he has pocket T and floped a monster, i decide to see if he actually has something so i shove it in for 8k, 5k more ontop of his first bet to rep an overpair, he insta calls and shows KT off and i brick the next two streets leaving me with 500 chips.

now my questions are how does he a call preflop with KT off out of position? and should i have just shoved it it pre with all the action that went down before it had goten to me to isolate and flip with someone?

It's a bit hard to tell with the format you wrote the hand history in, but it seems that with 3 callers there is already tons of chips (~3120) in the pot preflop so shoving seems best. We are only 30bb deep with one caller and less vs the original raiser and the other callers so it seems fine. He called with KT because it is a $6 tourney. Do not expect players to play or think like you do. If you do, you will only hurt yourself.

You should be happy when other players play poorly.  Quit complaining and ask questions about your own play, not your opponents'.

I like jamming or just calling preflop.  3betting leaves stacks kind of awkard post flop if called.

I would fold on the flop once bet into.  Your point about flop texture is valid, but why would he decide to just bluff at the pot 3 handed.  The pot is protected from a bluff, and he is likely ahead of your AQ w/ some kind of T or pocket pair, which leaves you drawing to 6 outs.
