Hey guys!

CO was fairly unknown, we played only a couple of hands together, I did not notice anything important.

On the flop I raised for value against hands like JT, T8, Ax or Kx with one club, small pocket pair. Now I think that this flop is not great for c-bet, so maybe I should have donkbet to aviod checkbehind… What do you think?

On the turn I still raised for value. What do you think about the bet size?

I did not like the river card, CO could have hands like AK, KQ and on the other hand I did not think he would have called with weaker hand anymore. So I decided to play check/call but then he overshoved which was a little bit scary for me so finally I folded. What do you think about my play and my tought process overall?

Either way, I think you played it as good as could be played.

Mostly I don’t like the check-raise, and this hand illustrates why. You basically overrepresent your hand, so that by the time you get to the river you can no longer feel good about it. Your hand is actually quite difficult to draw out on, most of the hands you list don’t actually have particularly good equity against you, and you aren’t going to be in great shape equity-wise if your c/r is called, so I don’t think you’re getting a lot of value out of either calls or folds when you c/r, and that makes me want to just c/c.
