Hey guys, this was a $44 OSS event on the Winning network. Not sure what to do with J8s in the BB here with 9bb. Is calling and taking a flop OK, or would just shoving it in be better? Maybe folding? Thanks for the replies!

SB flat may be “weak” in the sense that isn't AA, but I doubt it's “weak” in the sense of being behind J8s or likely to fold to a shove. I mean, it takes a pretty decent hand to cold call out of the SB, and I don't think he every really should fold to a BB shove, especially if you're contemplating doing it this wide.
Shoving may well be profitable, but calling is almost certainly more profitably unless both of these players folds way too much.
