Weekend tourney at Borgata in AC live event.  Some donks and solid regs.

Just got moved to this table.  Only 2nd hand at table.  200/400/50 ante

ME- UTG+1 w/ J10 s, open to 1k.  Stack 12.5k

UTG+ 2, goes all-in for 3.7k

button, flats the 3.7k

SB, tanks and eventually calls 3.7k

Comes back to me

What's proper play?

*I have no reads on anyone and never played with any.

1) Jam with my 12.k

2) call the 3.7k

3) fold (personally I'm never folding this in any tourney, I don't think lol)

What does everyone think?

Fold pre, I don't really like putting in 1/12th of our stack from UTG with j10s. As played, I think I like jamming if yr image is not completely aggro.  Guy on the button is likely 3 betting premiums, I think you have some fold equity versus him if you jam.  The SB tanking likely means that he thought he was priced in to call, I def think if you jam you are folding out the SB a high % of the time.  Therefore, I think as played I would jam.  I think if you aren't going to jam, I like folding.  J10s is going to be difficult to play post flop, and you are basically already pot committed once you call

Fold. You have no fold equity to the EP 3better imo, they are usually strong there. You could call with pot odds but you are risking 10bb's and trying to flop huge in a multiway pot oop. Not worth it. Save your chips.

A button flat from an utg open and an utg+1 jam looks super strong to me and could be a trap a lot of the time. You were basically only opening to steal and call anyones jam <10 bbs. Easy fold pre not deep enough to flat.

4)-Fold Pre….you have 30bb a stack that you don't want to be opening suited connectors with.  Plus, when opening you want to evaluate the stacks that are behind to act and who have 3 bet jamming stacks.  So when opening j10s you have to be prepared to call the 9bb jam.  As the way played, I would probably call (even though maybe a leak) to smash a flop 4 way preparing to get it all in with a flush or sd.  But again to stay out of these awkward spots, I fold pre, preserve my stack and use my 25+bb stack to 3 bet shove with and use the fold equity.  Best of luck at the tables.

I can dig the raise size pre but with the action after since it's a new table with no reads and you still have a nice stack for a live game i let it go.  I'm not wanting to call to smash a flush or straight draw….really only the straight draw would be good anyways as I'm not getting crazy with a Jhigh flush draw.
