Normally you shouldn't shove with 66 when you had a few beers. Meaning playing sober is +EV. 😉 Unless it's a just-for-fun game and you're not playing to make money.

Doubt we can fold in this spot, his range is too wide even with 12bbs (ppl know others raise/fold to these stacks now) and we have a pair.  In game i prob snap this off.

you kinda have to have a plan prior to raising this on the btn 🙂

unless he's exceedingly tight,

if your plan isn't to raise/call, i think you should just be shoving. idk sb's stack, but effective is 12bb? ya def profitable shove. i think i'd rather r/c a litte higher pair, like 88? whenever i'm committing to call a 3b shove, i generally want to have the middle or better card. like if i know someone shoves a lot of Kx hands and Ax hands btn vs bb, and dynamic dictates i can call wider, i want to have like A8 as my cutoff because when he shoves all Ax, i have the middle. so against Ax you're even. same concept applies for pairs.
