hello,
No reads here,
OTF I think checking its fine on this flop with our hand, OTT I am going for value/protection. On the min-raise I am not sure how to proceed. With calling we put our selves in a tough position for river. with shove I think I overplay my hand on this board. So I think make a tight fold here. However he probably has worst hands here like Axh. Maybe KQ with on heart etc.
What you think ?
UTG (Hero): 58,243 (19 bb)
MP: 14,726 (5 bb)
CO: 35,267 (12 bb)
BU: 48,931 (16 bb)
SB: 26,510 (9 bb)
BB: 61,728 (21 bb)
Pre-Flop: (9,000) Hero is UTG with T♦ A♠
Hero raises to 6,600, 2 players fold, BTN calls 6,600, 2 players fold
Flop: (22,200) 6♥ J♥ 8♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks
Turn: (22,200) A♣ (2 players)
Hero bets 12,100, BTN raises to 24,200, UTG (Hero) folds

Tricky spot, I like your fold. Hard to construct a 16BB coldcall range for villain, but it is likely heavily weighted to suited broadways. I don’t expect unknown villains to have offsuit aces worse than AT, so you’re probably crushed if Axh is raising. I think both getting it in on the turn or calling and playing a river OOP with an effective SPR of ~ 1:4 are pretty spewy.
I think there might be two decisions worth examining earlier in the hand.
It’s close but I don’t know if we want to open ATo UTG with so many shorties behind us. We should face a lot of shoves and have 38 – 47% equity vs. most ranges. Not the worst of spots, but depending on table conditions it may happen frequently enough to outweigh the value of stealing the blinds or playing vs a BB defending range.
I think our turn bet is much too large. At this stack depth I think our entire range wants to bet smaller. I think villain’s continue range with his few flush draws will call 12k roughly as often as 7k (this might change if villain coldcalls wide), and you’re making it harder for villain to call with many second best pairs by picking the larger size.
I would prefer a check/call line on the turn, planning to value bet non-heart rivers if it checks through. If betting, I would prefer sizing around 6 – 7.5k.

hey duck thanks for the reply,
about the open preflop I think for 6max with larger antes its ok I am lojack and I am happy to call the 5 bb stack. But maybe KJ for example I am more inclined to fold pre.
its true what you said about the sizing I should bet smaller with those stack sizes! also the check call line its sounds good ! I just see those hearts and I want to protect my TP and don’t give free card..

Oh I forgot that the antes are larger in hypers, definitely a good open. We’re for sure happy getting in against 5bb regardless, we are probably 55%+ against their range, but we can’t really fold to 9bb stack (even folding to 12bb shove is kind of nitty). Still, bigger antes mean get after it and love the variance 😀
