What you guys think about this hand? Is this worth 4 streets of value? (i called otr). Or should I check behind at some point and slowdown?

Either check or bet bigger on flop. Certainly want to barrel turn, but again it should be larger. River, on the other hand, should probably be smaller. Your hand is not *worth* four streets of value. In other words, you aren’t beating anything in Villain’s value range when he ck/shoves river. You have a pure bluff-catcher. Do you have some reason to think Villain will bluff here more than is optimal? Also, what’s your value target when you bet river?

Not bluffing, but I think V will check/shove, sometimes, two pairs, str8s and sets OTR, sometimes before the river, I see they doing this on this limit sometimes instead of just calling, maybe to use reentry… not sure.

My target OTR was two pairs, str8s and sets, maybe a weak flush, but because V called flop was a smaller part of his range. This target made me think about checking turn now, or should I bet fold?

river bet seems reasonable, although the more I think about it this is one of the shittiest flushes we’ll have here and he’ll have a lot of Jx/Tx w a Kh or Ah. So I changed my mind checking seems slightly better; unless you have reason to believe that he could have like J8o in his range and be calling river w the 8h but that seems fairly unlikely
