looks 100% standard to me unless you have some sick read on villain.  But based on your image, he could be doing this way lighter, and even if he is not its still a call i think.

very very standard.  QQ is certainly towards the top of his range here.  Folding to a 20 big blind shove here, esp. when some of the time he flips over AQ or AJ, would be a mistake.

Thanks guys…  Just the kind of feedback I need to improve my game…  Just down now, Woulda been 2nd in chips with MANY <6Ms, really coulda bullied the table IMO…  Instead, out 34th, AQ>1010….  Sigh….  I WILL bink one of these some day.

If you are a good player, then this kind of ending will happen to you over and over again because you are making it deep.  Think about the distribution of finishes if everyone was equally skilled.  Every time you make the top 30, you will only win 1/30 times.  Top 3 3/30 times and make the final table ~1/3 of the time.  Our minds trick ourselves into thinking that we got screwed whenever we make a deep run but dont’ win but the reality is that we aren’t going to win most of the time.

What you need to be doing is playing well enough to continually get there and play well enough once you are there play well enough to get a bigger share of the distribution than normal.

Whenever you have a deep run though you are increasing your chance of the big score and that is something to take satisfaction from.

Yup, don’t get results oriented with poker or you’re in for a long ride.  Never fold here.

So the next question is this:

At this point what hands am I raising/calling shove here to this raise?
