Firstly you probably shouldn’t post the result of the hand since if will affect the responses you get. Easy to say that you should fold when you end up dominated.

The hand itself, against his 3x I would normally just fold if I had no reads on him. The amount of FE you have is pretty small against that raise to an early position opener. Allthogh I do like the play, I probably like a more solid situation since you know (or have provided) nothing about how he’s been playing.

Welcome to TPE forums:

I'd definately fold here.  We don't have the FE and our hand is going to do badly against all of our villains 3x early position range.

I noticed this was a sat too. How many seats get awarded? I'd still fold regardless, but if only first place gets the ME seat the shove has more merrit.

yeah when posting try to convert hands and also don't post results.

i think as a general rule, without reads, you should assume 0 FE on reshoves with like 12BB and below. and certainly against EP 3x opens you don't have any FE, i woudn't shove here with 20BB let alone your stack.

I mean you do technically have fold equity but you need very specific reads to determine this villain will actually fold here.

with no reads a 3x this late in a tourney from that postion is  strong or at least strong enough that they are calling your reshove…sucks but I fold and wait for a better spot!

 +1 on the hand converter.

3-bet shoves should be based on reads, unless you have AA,KK maybe AK. Plus, the intial raiser had many people to act after him, which usually suggest a strong hand. If your called your either behind or it is off to the races. I would not take a chance like that with an early position raiser with no reads with your holdings.
