Really depends on the specifications of the deal. Generally speaking if someone gets 5% of your scores over 1k, you are paying an extra 5% rake on anything significant to you and it'll be harder to move up in stakes/show a profit.
But outline the deal anyway and I'll give my honest opinion.

if ur just learning the game then ur profits are going to be mediocre break even at best so thats not much for the coach but if your profitable and looking to take your game to next level then it could work but its a fine line because if your in 30% roi range you obv dont need a coach but your roi would have to be that high to keep both partys happy (catch 22 imo)
