Hey guys,
Thought this w an interesting spot. There is a side pot of 655 and a main pot of 615. Also, this is a 2x tourney so I can reload if I get short and bust. 1) bet/fold, 2) ck/call 3)ck/fld? If you guys think 1 or 2 please include bet size or amount you would call.
Thanks for the feedback

Hey,
although you can reload, I am not shoving pre this early and this deep. If you want to iso the villan, you could 3bet, but I dont have a problem with your flat pre. I think your turn bet is fine, also. I guess I would have made it a little bigger though. When he calls your turn bet, villan has a club a lot of the time here. Check folding the river is fine with me. If you bet/fold, which would be another option for me, you are basically betting as a blocker/bluff. The advantage of this play is, that you are defending yourself against riverbluffs, the villan could be very tempted to show up with, if you check to him and he sits on, lets say 89 or QJ without a club. But I think by calling the turn, his range contains a lot more holdings with a club. I cant imagine many hands you beat on the river, that just flat your turn bet. That being said, I guess I lean towards check/folding. On the other hand, by betting you potentially gain access to the main pot, that you would miss, if he bluffs you out of the pot. Still, I guess check folding is the best option here. If he is overly aggressive, you could make a good argument for check calling, if he is a nit, I could see me bluff/blocker bet the river more often.
do not shove preflop. your risk to reward is terrible and you can play the hand way more profitably by calling or putting in a reasonable isolation raise (i would probably click it back).
i'd bet more on the turn and just c/f the river. i think most of his range to call the turn has a club in it and the rest of it probably has some showdown value and will check back. not to mention that i highly doubt he calls river with worse.

if we are deep enough, i pretty much bet every 4-club board, because they really can only continue with Tc+ at best
Thanks for all the replys guys (I'm defiantely going to be posting more here).
I wound up ck/flding to a $500ish bet on river and the villain also had kq w no club. This left me wondering if a blocker bet of about 350 might be a better option.
Having read your posts and thinking about it more I'm satisfied with how I played the hand. He has qj, qk, or a club most likely. I have a queen and a King so those hands are a little bit less likely and there are a ton of club combos he can have in his range.
Pre-flop. I considered isoing (def wouldn't shove) but decided to flat because the hand flops pwelll, and I'm pretty confident playing post.
Turn: I got a lot of feedback here and 2p2 that my bet size w too small. I was laying villain 3:1 in a spot where he is probably 5:1 to beat me. Don't we want the villain to fish here, especially if we are planning to ck/fd club rivers giving him almost zero implied odds? How much do you guys bet on turn and why?
River: Cougars, Benny, Hawk, and sensibility: What range do you guys put villain on in the river? I think Hagbard is right, there aren't a lot of hands that ck pre and calls turn that have a club below ten we can bluff off.
Thanks again guys, really appreciate it!

I just feel bet/fold is a better line than ck/fold. If you check is he ever checking back? I dont think so, so you will have to fold almost all the time because he is going to fire for value or represent the club. A small blocker bet at least gives you a chance to win the pot some of the time.
