As always early in this tourney i have been a super nit and only played a few hands with a double up on quad Queens which was nice! My opponent in this hand is also playing super tight with about 11/8 showing in the HUD.

I call on the flop thinking there's a decent chance i may be ahead and obviously hoping also that the call may slow him down on the turn. I turn an open ender and still think my 8s could be good. Can i raise here? Can I, or should i fold here?

The river brings in the flush which I am sure will slow him down but then he tank pushes all in? Surely my flop and turn call should have him worried about the flush? What can he possibly be shuving?

Feedback much appreciated as always!

That's a really good turn to raise. As played I'm not hero calling the river blindly.

The problem is that about 40-45%of his stack is invested after he fires a 2nd barrel so I don't think you have any sort of fold equity.

As played I think it's fine.  You can't really raise that turn after he left himself with 4.5k and invested 40% of his stack.  Since you know this guy is super tight based on his HUD stats I  actually like a fold pre flop here.  With 88 you are essentially calling to set mine.  When he raises to 562, you need 18-1 odds to call, assuming if you hit that you are going to stack him.  That is roughly 10k and he only has 8k.  So in the long run it is just more profitable to fold here, especially since you know he is super tight.

Its close between call / fold pre. He has just under 34 bigs. I wouldnt necessarily be set mining with 8s but playing them for value too. Me personally I would pretty much take the same line you took.

I am calling pre and calling the flop, same as you. Jamming the turn is an option but I agree with FKCoolers that you don't have a huge amount of FE. Folding seems pretty gross with possibly the best hand and up to 10 outs if not. At the moment I think he could have a set, an overpair, AKdd type hand or maybe AQ. When the flush gets there on the river I don't think you are ahead of anything and so I would fold. If I were now to put him on a hand I would imagine he had something like AKdd as he hasn't slowed down at all.

I think you played it fine, only spot I'm unsure about is the turn as if you think you are behind then you're not really getting the odds to call. So it depends how often you think you are ahead.
