So had this hand come up where it was a f.t., one player min opens off of 18bb in HJ, co shoves for 5bb and I am in the SB w 16.5bb 7 handed. Now I tried inputting this into ICMizer, and I can put in the min open and the 5bb shove, but after that it only calculated a calling range for me rather than a range to go all in with. So I don’t know if there is a way to make it so the calc only allows Hero to push or fold somehow in a situation like this? Or maybe it actually is assuming I shove but it just doesn’t display it very well? I am using the free version, so maybe thats got something to do with it also…

The free version is probably a lot less useful than the paid version. If you want really valuable learning tools, you’re not going to get them for free. I would recommend getting a copy of HoldemResources Calculator, it can do these calculations and a lot more, and it’s quite cheap. If you’re serious about getting better at poker then you would be much better off spending $20 per month or whatever on a piece of software that will improve your game than on one extra $20 MTT.
