I’m back grinding the 45man SNGs and have been working on some ICM spots

I find the odd spot confusing, such as the one below

We have 2bb (not that far fetched in these games) on the button and I feel as though I can push wider than what it says

I know we have no FE and there is a chance the SB busts the BB

but we are about to get the BB ourselves and will have to call with any 2 in the next hand?

Prize payout for 45 man

31%

21.5%

16.5%

In this example the sb and bb will be calling you 100% correctly and very wide.

Thanks for the reply Jedi.

Had to recreate this spot manually, I think I have the chip counts correct

Small blind (Chip leader) should be calling 16% and BB any two

BB overcall is 10%

I would have thought SB could be wider here

Sorry I only put up the chart for our shove

If you push the purple ICMIZE button on the lower right portion of the Quiz screen it should load the hand and details for you so that you don’t have to enter them manually.

I alsoguessed the sb would be a little wider. A good exercise would be to play with the sb calling range a bit and see what effect this has on your shoving range in this spot.

Thanks mate.

I know about the ICMIZE button but had moved on to a different quiz

not sure if the program keeps history of the quiz spots

I defiantly need to start playing with Villian ranges in these spots to see how it changes things

Oh good I wasn’t sure why you needed to manually enter, my mistake. I know for me moving the ranges around and to find the points where the they are + and – EV helps the most for future in game spots vs different villain types. laugh
