so guys i think we all have been late in a mtt, with a short stack10-15 bbs, just waiting for double,so here is the thing: ill take the last exemple from last night(allthough there were many situation like this one in past) last 15 in a tourn,it was kind of shallow(not many blinds to play i think the cl had 40 bbs) so i had 1,5 mil and the blind is 120 k,we re 7 handed 2 folds and i have a4o,for me its standard push here with 12 bbs and 4 players to act,not to say that the pot is big considering our stack..so just wanted to hear any opinions from u guys! i heard some opinions from good competent players(in my opinion that play tighter=those who u see on shark with 150 k winings, and hm shows u 8/4 on 200 hands,or 12/8 in a 6 max) that they like to wait untill to get to 9 or 8 bigs to push a premium instead of tacking this spot,,personal i hate it(when i get under 20 bbs,a red allarm starts:)) not to say about 10:)) tell me what u think guys tnx

I think it all depends on average stack size vs the field, icm, pay jumps, etc. There are times imo that I don't go by a chart. For example on Lock and on Merge, 12bb can be right at avg and you have a lot of play with that stack. I personally don't like shoving with a4o with 4 to act. You are only going to get called by better hands and in many cases, you are going to be a 70/30 dog. I would even like to shove with 98ss or 109ss instead of Ax there, because in many cases when called you will be live. Obviously the closer you get to the button, the probability goes up that your weak ace will go through.

Need way more info than just your stack size and what the avg stack is.
Super important factors are your FE against the stacks yet to act. How competent they
Are…..profitable players or newbies?
How active have you been?
Have they been 3bet shoving your opens?
In a vacuum, I dont like shipping this hand with 4 people left to act.
