I had approximately the average stack at that time. after playing few hours.Than I got KK shove and busted.I start to think maybe this is not the optimal move at that point ? what do you think ?

With that stack it is generally better to 3bet/call.

Dont agree. If I can get in less than 30 BB in pre-flop with KK, and I think MP+1 doesnt have to have aces, its going in.

I see you ran the math and your 68% pre-flop. Unless I am over 40 BB, I am in fist pump territory here.

Personally I would 3 bet and call the shove if they do in fact shove. If they just call the 3 bet then we get to see the flop and proceed with more information. If they just call and the ace hits and they check then i am still betting the flop. If they shove over your bet then you can be pretty confident they have the ace. If they just call your bet then it is a little murkier. Of course if they lead with the ace on the board then I am giving them the grumpy old man face calling them a luckbox and then folding.
