Hi,
In my recent tournament at Pokerstars I have folded my AA in a all-in situation. Please see the link of #Boomplayer. I will appreciate any comments on my play.

omg..what u were thinkin when u checked?:) the first thing i thought when i saw ur ckeck it was:i like it if he check calls, but what came next is pretty bad..yea,the guy in ur left took a stab at the pot,and the blind obv could think that and raise light,or even maybe he has a 7,and thinks the guy has air and decide to raise him to protect his hand ..but u cant fold that easy,i dont think u need reasons that covers ur fold, cause they are not,,

reeally really really??????????????????????????? why r u even checking this board other than to c/r get it in, you're getting paid by any other decent pair and possible a flush draw. If you've run into quad 22s or 77s full so be it. But seriously what on earth are you scared of on this board???????????? you WANT action here!!!!! You can never, ever fold this flop.

I checked to see how other player reacts to the flop and disguise my monster hand. When two same cards on the flop you have to be little careful. I have lost this tournament for the same reason. I went all in when 6 came on the turn and flop. I lost 90% of my chip because someone holding K with 6 kicker.
Anyway, I got the guy who raised previously and made fold AA after few hands. See the replayer:

I don't know what you were thinking to fold there. That's a dream scenario IMO. You had them Hook, Line and Sinker. If you're gonna play that scared, you will never ever be a consistant winner. I definately fist pump, high five my monitor and get my chips in there. Not trying to rag on you, but that is just mind boggling to me.

Oh well, as long as your AJ held up -WHAAAAAA!?!?!?!?!
Dude, come on and think about it. What could that villain have that he's being that agressive with post flop 227 (after, mind you, 2 checks)???
Could he have called PF with 72? Not in a million years – but it happens, right? So is he going to slow play that or run guys off with a big bet with it?
Could he have called PF with 77? Oh sure, but don't you think he'd still like some company through to the river with that? See 72
Could he have called PF with A2? Oh sure, but…
Could he have called PF with AK?
Could he have called PF with AQ?
Could he have called PF with TT?
Could he have called PF with 99?
Could he have called PF with 88?
Could he have called PF with 66?
Could he have called PF with 55?
Could he have called PF with 44?
Could he have called PF with 33?
Could he have called PF with 22?
You think he could have figured no one hit that flop and it's great opportunity to grab the pot (especially after weak preflop and two flop checks)?? OH MOST DEFINTELY
You need to Poker Stove this. I just did and assigned him an extremely tight range (any pair and AK only) and you were still 87%!!!!!
Add any suited and you're still over 84%
So if you inlcude all the cards he could be holding that could crush you, you also have to include the one's inbetween that crush him – and this is the point – over 4 out of 5 times you are the man! And when 4 out of 5 dentists agree, you gotta get your money in.
You ever hear of Monsters Under the Bed Syndrome?
Thanks for your thought process. I can see from everyone's post that my AA folding wasn't a good decesion. Bad beat can happen in Poker but I should've take the chance. Great advise and it will help me in my future tournaments.
i agree with above posts although some are a little harsh.
either way i do not plan on folding. He could have flush draws, a 7 or even 88+. rarely if ever a 2 in his hand. and i dont think hed have shoved 77 either.
also I would make it bigger preflop in the Sunday storm since players are worse and will call you more often, and you and most other people at your table were pretty deep (>30bb)
