from twists article key differences between high stakes n low stakes:  Level 5: What does my opponent think that I think they think I have?

Now for my reads……..Folcario is opening lots and folding to resistance. Ive assigned him a very wide range.

ImSoAmbitious is opening TONS. Ive assigned him an EXTREMELY wide range.

ImSoAmbitious knows that Folcario is opening lots, hence, ImSoAmbitious can easily 3bet this button light and expect to take it down pre.

My only concern was that i might not have hand enough chips to make ImSoAmbitious fold but he made his 3bet so small i felt he was weak n gave himself room to fold.

Do these opponents pretty much always put me on like AA,KK,AK, here?

For me looking at this hand, I think there is an aspect of where you got lucky here. You have a two opponents who have both expressed interest in the pot, both of who have you covered, one of which you have identified as a highly aggro player. If the first guy is opening and folding then you can be comfortable with him going away. What has me concerned with doing this so light is, how has the guy you are doing this into responded. If you think he messes around light that is fine, but what I think is a lot more important in these types of situation is what have you seen him do. Until I see him do something light (i.e. something at showdown)  or do it at a ridiculous frequency I think it is dangerous to go so far out on a limb, but that is how I play.

I think, this shove is bad, because 3bettor have a great odds to call and I think, he can call light here… If you have stacksize, something like more then 27BBs here, Its a great spot for light 4bet, but with this stacksize, i fold.

I like it and I'm a nit. If the original open was from a different spot at the table I'd say you need a better hand to make this move with but CO vs. Button and with those player tendencies … yeah you can take a cold 4 bet shot with ATC there.

You've prob been tight on that stack size so I think you're being assigned QQ+ and AK at first glance. Nice play.

The fact you did it on a 21 bb stack just gives you further credit since you're laying a nice price so I think you're making 7's, 8's, and 9's fold almost every time. TT and JJ probably call but with those dynamics it's just super unlucky if this dude actually has a real hand.

+1.

very nice play giving playr tendancies.

spots we definately have to take when circumstances are correct.

like some points lespaul makes about seieng villian showdown light rather than assuming villian is light

we must give off a solid read as well…. as being nitty

the spot is great. with only 20BB, though, i'd imagine he is going to call decently wide and would like a hand with better equity when called. you have about the worst hand possible when called.

but the spot is really good.
