Hi – just wondering what HUD stats people use and how they configure them if multi tabling.
I currently have player name, hands, VIP, PFR, 3B, Fold to 3B, Steal, Fold to Steal, donk bet, went to and won at show down.
Now, when 11 tabling I don’t have room for all those stats and don’t have time to look at them anyway, it’s pretty much ABC poker trying to get some big stacks so have now switched the HUD off.
I can see value in turnin it back on when I get down to the last 4 tables but even then the stats can get in the way of seeing stacks, hands etc.
Could you post to say what stats you use and when you have the HUD switched on. Also, do you use abbreviations on the HUD? I’ve removed all mine to save space but I lose time trying to find the stat I need when I need it!
I’m still not sure how much the stats are helping, I have a better success rate to date on PKR without a HUD but filed sizes on that site are much lower and fields are softer so maybe that equals out to not having a HUD.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, having a bad month so far so trying to re-evaluate and see what else I can do to help increase any small edges. Cheers.

The more I play the more I realize that using a HUD for MTT's is kind of a joke.
You'll never remember what stage of the tournaments and what stack sizes your villains had when you compiled those stats so you can end up making a lot of bad decisions based off that stuff – this is especially true at low and mid stakes where the player pool is so large.
I'd much rather develop a good note taking system and then be disciplined enough to keep taking notes.

Im using name/hands/(new line) VPIP / PFR / FoldToCbet / 3bet / FoldTo3bet
Most of time i only look at Vpip, PFR and 3bet… Other stats only using, if im deep and got many hands of person.
I play MTTs up to 16-20 tables. In early stages i play tight ABC poker, when Antes come, i really like to use the VPiP&PFR&3bet stats.
I already made so many 4bet shove steals and 3bet steals just based on their stats, that i think its profitable to have them.
All other stats i just use sometimes in tourneys, when im deep. But i open my HUD PopUp in HM2 and watch their stats there. I hate to have more than 4-5 stats in my little HUD window. Normally i only had VPIP/PFR/3bet Hud window, the other 2 stats i just added few weeks ago. Not sure if ill need them alot
Notes still are best thing to go for. First of all im making notes and read notes, than im watching stats.
Ive made many profitable moves just because of my hud, that i think its def profitable to have them (if you are multitabling) When it comes to 3-4 deep runs, im watching the tables myself and dont need the stats anymore. Only using it for midstage

Im using the basic stats and added BB defend and Fold to 3bet to the second line. I also have BBs next to the players name so I dont have to always figure out there stack size in BBs. If you are 11 tabling I think you need 2 screens. For me I cant see the stats well with more than 6 tables per screen. If I am HU will a player or shorthanded and the stats are skewed I just make a note of this in player notes. But you can double click the stats box for the player and it turns red and this shows the stats for the current session with no historical stats (HM2). I am also using the popup box to check from what positions the players are opening from the most and stealing from the most. Maybe you shouldnt be 11 tabling…seems like alot. IMO not using a HUD is a huuuuge mistake, unless you are only playing poker as a hobby for fun. Its so helpful to identify nits, lags, regs, fish, or donktards just by their stats. I color code or tag players as soon as I identify their general playing style. It is also good for table dynamics to see how you have been playing so you can play off your image. Good luck! Hope this helps you…

First off, if you are going to use names in your HUD only use the first 2-3 letters. This way it takes up sapce.
Some other important stats are CBet % and Fold to CBet%, this is very useful when mutltabling as it helps you play post when called.
Aggresion is another useful stat that will make it easier to play against opponents when you are massively multibling and dont get to see hands your not involved in.
I always keep the HUD on, the number of tabels has no effect on the HUDs display so it shouldnt really matter if you are 2 tabling or 20 tabling. If your HUD is taking up too much space its taking up too much space.
