I cant figure out how to get my hand histories from Ap, so I will just explain it. Last night I was 7/14 in the 4K GTD with 86K. Blinds were 1250 and 2500. The button was chip leader with 168K and had been opening light and I saw him shove pre with AK and 99. I was in the big blind with JJ. He opens to 7500 like he has almost everytime around. I reraise to 20K and he goes all in. I think that he has AQ+ or something like 99 or 1010. I call and he has queens. Can I lay this down? Thoughts
Well I guess its important to note, you saw him opening light but have you seen him 4bet light? With that being said we just dropped almost 1/4 of our stack in preflop. He has to shove or fold here and I think your call is fine. We are probably ahead of most of his range, which I would give him exactly what you said which isnt super loose or super tight. If we stove that range against JJ is almost exactly 50/50. A double up is huge for us and since we should almost always raise here and have so much in the pot when he shoves Im calling 100%…….you just got coolered.
