Hey

Readless , just wondering how wide my bluffing range should be in this spot?

another option could be to c/c and re-evaluate turn  if v checks behind we could shove river (it would look more bluffy) ,though I guess villian would be thinking that im repping hands ax, think those would be the top of my range , v may end up calling with a hand like KK/QQ/JJ/TT thinking we have busted draws if we shove were as if we made a half pot bet otr that may look more stong and less bluffy?

anyway given how the hand played out when i check/shoved , i'd usually not play my strong hands this way , if i had lets say 77/44/A7/A4 , i would c/r flop and shove turn. So basically i think i should have a balance bluffing range and play it the same way just like i would with my value hands.

the only reason as to why i think c/s flop is good is because we have decent equity when called anyway and we are also 30bb effective so kinda shallow here, i really do think that I have a very good bluffing candiate.

6s 5s would be a very good bluffing candidate, because it has decent equity when called AND a lot to gain by making your opponent fold. The problem with shoving this hand is that you win very little when your opponent folds, because any hand he folds is way behind yours anyway. What you have is a very good bluff-catcher.

The broader answer to your question is “not very wide”. This board is better for the UTG raiser than for you, and there are very few hands you would raise for value. That means you can balance only a very few bluffs. I’d suggest just not having a raising range at all on this board.

would that change if we knew v likes to c-bet almost 100% of the time and is very aggressive post flop? or would be still playing this as a bluff catcher?

against an aggressive opponent i actually still think calling is good , there's a good chance we're ahead of his range and there's also hardly any scare cards for us , so we can pretty much play perfectly…

I still don't see what raising this hand accomplishes. When you're bluffing, you should trying to make your opponent fold a hand better than yours. What would your target be, against any sort of opponent, if you raised A8?

my target were AK/AQ/AJ , am i being realistic? Probably not , I don't think V will be folding top pair given how the spr is like 2 also my hand looks really face up , when i c/s.

Also lets say we had KspadeQspade, (readless)same effective stacks ect,  I would usually c/s flop to get a hand like Ax to fold even if called we do have decent equity also to get medium to big pocket pairs to fold , would consider that a number 2  spot. Though given that v has opened utg there range is going to be pretty sure which may conster some good aces,  so  I actually think c/c flop with kqs is OK play , if the turn is a blank and  it goes check check , hero could bet big otr (against a bad player) to get him to fold anything but an ace ( to get the to fold marginal hands)  and against a good opponent bet small otr since there range is weak anyway, a bet of 1/3 of the pot only needs to suceed 25% of the time to be profitable
