After the flop i thought maybe he check raises to get me off of any draws? is this a correct line of thinking? i had convinced myself he had either k 10 or kq.

on the turn no straight or flush is psbl – just get it in!

if he has a set – bad luck , nxt tourney

i guess doyle brunson once said sth like: if i have a set someone gets paid!

ok. Just was wondering if i played this right. he had a set of 10's. I cant remember the last time someone had a higher set (inexperience?), so is that why you just get it in?, for the very few times they will have a set?

well not purely b/c there are a few times somone else has a set over yours.. There are actually times to fold sets on not so wet boards

but here its easier to get this in b/c his range imo includes a lot of hands we beat

made hands like KT,AK,KQo/KQss,KJo/KJss not even necessarily w F draws but also like AspadeQspade, AspadeJspade, Aspade9spade, Aspade8spade, QspadeJspade, Qspade9spade, Jspade9spade

we really only lose to 1 hand now b/c KK doesnt flat here pre

making it something like 23 combos of hands we're ahead of and 3 combos we're behind

we're obv a decent favourite vs this range and getting in our chips in ahead is the objective of this game so this decision is pretty straight forward
