so so so bad. over $1300 more for second place, third got me $3402. No real excuse…I said to myself there is no other hand the villain could play here other than AA but also told myself, completely erroneously, I was pot committed and hoped the villain was spazzing…the villain is a losing player and i saw him make a few hideous calls (once with K10off after 2 all ins, naturally he got there). this was, however, the first time he back raised and i'm most angry that I made the call with i am ashamed to say little deliberation (not even thinking about the value of letting short stack bust first)…still would have had 31bb if i made the correct (and obvious!) fold.
again no excuses but i was very tired and playing distracted (texting, etc) so this hand might not in itself warrant discussion but just wanted to remind people..mainly myself!!...that if a tourney does not have your TOTAL concentration very costly mistakes might be the outcome...sorry don't know why the script here is so screwed up
