How many tables do you play simultaneously?

How many tables do you guys usually play when you are multitabling?

I've watched one live video from bigdog where he was only 2 tabling, even without a hud. So I guess he doesn't play that many tables?

Wein on the other hand plays like 7 or 8 tables (one of them even a mixed MSOP event) in his 100c series.

What do you guys think is the sweetspot for adding more tables versus missing got spots, playing abc poker, timing out?

I've found out that I play the best when there are only 4-6 tables left at the end of my session. I can comfortably 9 table but my play becomes a bit ABC and my betsizing can be off sometimes. When I don't bust out of early tournaments (and I've pre-registered for my whole schedule), things tend to get a little bit hectic with up to 13 or 14 tables. It's no fun at this point and I basically just try to not make any mistakes, fold semi-good hands and find shoving spots where I don't have to play a flop.

I once read in a post by GambleAB on 2+2 that he plays like 6 tables and only registers for new MTTs when he busts one .. so that he never plays more than 6. Seems like a good idea – but you obv may miss out on some +EV MTTs and your volume also goes down..

Anyway…would be interesting to hear what the pros have to say about this…

I play anywhere from 1-24ish tourneys at a time… depends on mood, BI's, what tourneys Im in etc etc… But if your looking to get high volume and decent hourly obv you need to play as many as you can handle with moderate ease…but if your looking to improve improve improve and find spots against opponents then limit your tables to as few as you like to be able to focus on all tables with relative ease

8-10 Is perfect for me.  It really depends on comfort level.  I could only 2 table for quite some time.  Once you get to 4 though it seems like you can add tables pretty quickly.

I don't play a lot of nights – so when I do I like to put in volume.  I usually notice that when I play over six I have focusing problems, so I'd say that is my sweet spot.

I can deal with 8-12, but not for long.  I def think six is the #
