I am really interested in hearing peoples thoughts on this. Bigdog, Marc, KB and RFB talked about Black Friday in the beginning part of the podcast this week. They talked about how it affected them and where it has taken them since. My question is how long do you guys think the remaining networks can keep marketing to U.S.?
I would love to hear Bigdogs and Marcs opinion on this since they are Lock pros. Marc, I figure this has to concern you since you are a U.S. Lock pro. How long can this last? They are obviously growing so quick and that is going to attract attention from US government.
I am seeing two huge series back to back. Maximus immediately followed by LOCKOPS. Is this another ploy to get as much rake as humanly possible before it blows up in their face?
We have to ask, why did the smaller networks immediately start marketing to US players after Black Friday knowing what the government did to Stars, FT and UB? They knew it has to be temporary until they grow big enough for them to be a target.
they use payment “processors” bro. if im not mistaken the we have here states something like this. No bank can accept or receive payment from any online gaming site. This circumvents it. Unless the US decids to try and tweek the law some more, then things should be cool, and the sites know this. BUT the DOJ could be working on this..idk..But I think any change will come in front of congress, so we will have word first I believe.
