This player can have everything. he is playing alot of pots and show strange hands. its a 2$ 1r1a tourny.
Def. putting in a second barrel as I believe there are tons of hands other than jx In his range. Another reason to put a second barrel in is to build a pot so when we do hit we win a gigantic pot. Against certain villains that float like 80% of flops, I think check raising the turn can be a nutty line. That’s opponent based, so 95% I’m double barrelling turn and depending on river, I sometimes will put in the third bullet.

I almost like c/r that flop as well especially if you think the villain will bet….granted it is player dependent, but I try to get as much money in on that flop as possible to get max value. I do agree with Marc that with the way played, I definitely double barrel, and be ready to fire river depending on what card falls.

Sounds to me like you have a very stationy fish in this hand. A line I like to take against these players is to bet like I have it and am defending against a flush draw rather than trying to make one i.e. setting up the threat of a large rvr barrell bet whether I get there or not. So betting like I have the J / over pair and being prepared to fire big'ish on rvr as player like this is not going to give up on any piece until rvr and you have completely convinced him hes beat (but also be prepared for him to station on the river aswell and lose a big pot). I like the line of check raising turn as well if you think you'll get bet into often enough.
