Hey guys, me again – full off questions lol.

How do you go about reviewing your HH's? at the moment I the HH in universal replayer and I have a pad and paper and am making notes on the hands I want to.

Is there a note system in Universal Replayer? DO you save HH's in there with notes and go back to them periodically to see how your game has progressed? if it still has the same leaks?

Thanks Guys.

I go through the replayer in HEM, and when i come across an interesting spot I post it.  If it's a mathematical question i work it out right there because I tend to not go back if i don't do it on the spot.

I don't really go back to old HHs thought.  Usually too much new stuff to work on.  🙂

Personally i use both HEM and universal replayer

If i'm unsure about a late game spot where i should call or fold to a shove i will timebank and physically write my hand down along with the blinds. Then i'll go back into the HEM file, right click it and run it through SnG wizz. This is especially useful obv in SnG's and also 18man and 45 mans where these spots come up alot

For most other spots like in-hand bet sizing, whether or not we should c-bet, bluff, getting the right pot odds etc etc its much easier to copy and paste the HH for that single hand immediately after its finished into a word document (which i usually have open behind the lobby) along with a note like 'villain is LAGG ?shove river' or something to that effect that reminds you why you pasted it when you go back to it

These are a couple things i do anyway and i'm sure there are a lot of interesting ways people review and improve their games out there!

Oh btw – whenever i ship a tourney i request the entire HH from stars, smoke a vanilla cigar with my poker buddies and go through the whole tourney with 1 or 2 of them and freely discuss all things from buy-in, early play, position, bet sizing, barrelling, etc etc you name it.

The only downside to this is all the bloody cigars i've had to smoke since joining TPE are bad for my health!!!!laugh

got a 4 part video on the way of me sticking it to myself, 5 years ago when i first started the transition from limit/nl cash games into tourney poker i sattyd into the sunday million and finished 43rd haveing no clue what i was doing 4 years later i finished 22nd with way more of a clue, im going to compare the 2 runs in 4 parts, parts 1+2 will be 5 years ago and 3+4 will be 4 years later showing all the improvement within my own game. What do you think nation?

Sounds excellent Tim,

One thing I would ask (if you haven't started already obv) could you start from scratch and use all the reviewing tools you would usually use, replayer, HEM calculations, notes you may take etc… etc…. as I'd personally like to get the use out of all the reviewing tools at my disposale.

Thanks mate
