Hey

V - has been pretty active.

I feel that I played this hand really bad , i was pretty much trying to just check it down to get to showdown. Once the hand
was finished i thought to myself I should of played this hand differently.

checking it down dont seem good at all imo , is anyone checking turn here with this hand? i just dont think it has enough STD.

looking back at this hand when we get to the flop their range looks really weak unlikely they'll be checking back here with Qx, they may check back here with
small pairs , 88/99/TT/JJ AJ/AK , though i think most players will c-bet a hand like AJ/AK OTF to take it down.

when we get to the turn , i think our bluffing range should be really wide ,we could bet like 3/4 of the pot and shove river
to get folds from hands like Jx , if v calls turn we can also represent a flush on the river and If the diamond does not
get there , i still think jamming is okay, thoughts on this?

anyhow on the river , i actually dont think the river improves villians range , i mean if they a flush draw on the flop they would of
likely bet those.

i think the top of their range would be JTs 22/55/JJ/QQ

thoughts please?

cheers!

What makes you think V will/should fold Jx to a double barrel? You just identified it as the top of his range.

I think you played this fine, might even be able to fold turn. There are some worse hands V may well check down with you, such as AT and AK. I'd expect his flop checking range to be mostly whiffed broadways, and this is a very good turn card for that range.

I know its a trend atm to call light from the BB against a min-raise given the good odds. I do that myself. Sometimes to much. But I think preflop should be a fold here.

Playing 75o OOP against a strong range is not ideal.

If villain opens a 13% range UTG like this: 22+, ATs+, A5s-A2s, KJs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo

75o has 31,2 % equity.

Your potodds preflop 17,9 %

So you need to realize your equity 17,9 / 31,2 = 57,4 % of the times.

I think that is hard against a UTG range OOP.

I dont think bluffing light here is good. Hes range is still ahaed imo andod 75o has showdown value.

If you want to bluff the turn you have much better candidates. Hands that when called by medium PPs fx has outs on the river.

FDs and Ax maybe.

@ long, we are getting 4.5 to 1 on the call pre right?

@focault ,  i think he should be folding Jx here , when hero leads out on the turn our range very well may include Qx and flush draws, if the river does complete , we can represent it and get v to fold Jx. I doubt they're folding JJ though and i doubt they are folding JTs either , but our value target would be AJ here or KJo. thoughts on that?
