Hey
reads - V seemed like he was playing rather on the tighter side , never did see much from him.
Which line do u take pre, flat or shove?
post flop , I c/r shoved flop for value, any one thinks we could have took a different line?
perhaps c/c OTF and re-evaluate turn? meh not sure if i like that.
v could be betting with there flush draws and we have decent equity vs that , so yeah there's a number of hands which
v could be betting with here , and since he's opened from the button there range is likely to be very wide.
cheers.

Definitely shoving this hand pre-flop. We have 17bb with a hand that does best over 5 streets as we will likely have draws. With this stack we're not deep enough to be playing fit/fold, so unless we're planning on check/shoving practically any flop I think we just resteal all in pre. He may be tight but he is minraising from the button so his range is still wide enough I think. And he has the perfect stack size for us to do this: he can fold and still have chips.
On the flop, again I am just check/shoving. I can't imagine ever flatting an open, being left with 15bb and then folding second pair. So we may as well use our fold equity and scoop the chips. It just gets ugly when overcards come and you have a short stack with a pair of 9s.

I like your line. He could be betting a hell of a lot less than a flush draw. Even if you aren’t ahead of his calling range, which you may not be, it will include some worse hands, and he’ll fold hands with decent equity often enough to make shoving more profitable than any other option.
