I believe the Super High Roller has a bit flatter payout structure than the standard Merge mtts.

Looking for feedback on optimal squeezing range and sizing pre, as well as postflop line on this flop as played.

No mtt sample on button but I think he's a cash game boss- sn is Play1hunnidBBsorGTFO. CO has combined steal stat of 67.

What are the blind/ante structures here? t=0 in the beginning?  2000/4000/200?

This looks like a tough spot and I wouldn't presume to have a second post worthy answer in a high stakes situation like this.  But I noticed you may want to include that bit of necessary information, which could help the pros give you their feedback.  Does the 1BB after everyone's name mean they post ante of 1BB?  If so the pot is larger than what is being indicated.

Yeah there are still bugs (or maybe user errors) with the TPE converter. Here's the same hand read with another converter:
Merge, $535 Buy-in (2,000/4,000 blinds, 400 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 9 Players
Poker Tools by CardRunners – …..nners.com/

TheColorOfMoney (CO): 178,447 (44.6 bb)
Play1hunnidBBsOrGTFO (BTN): 259,856 (65 bb)
Hero (SB): 176,955 (44.2 bb)
igotsithomie (BB): 226,048 (56.5 bb)
1Troy1 (UTG+1): 71,804 (18 bb)
childish0909 (UTG+2): 173,240 (43.3 bb)
Heisenberg66 (MP1): 41,460 (10.4 bb)
DJAE2125 (MP2): 101,899 (25.5 bb)
Miwa2906 (MP3): 60,291 (15.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6h Ad
5 folds, TheColorOfMoney raises to 8,000, Play1hunnidBBsOrGTFO calls 8,000, Hero raises to 27,777, 2 folds, Play1hunnidBBsOrGTFO calls 19,777

Flop: (71,154) 6c Qh Kc (2 players)
Hero checks, Play1hunnidBBsOrGTFO bets 27,577, Hero….

Yeah its kind of a boring spot, but obviously not to me since it had hefty payout implications. 2 aspects that keep bugging me:

1. Should I be using larger squeeze sizing in this spot that has massive ICM considerations, and tough players that will see this as a very obv squeezing spot? 33,333 perhaps?
2. Is the villains mini-downsize compared to my preflop bet size vs. my skipped flop cbet a really clear hint that he is strong, or am I reading too far into it?
FWIW in hindsight I dislike getting involved with this hand pre. I do like the play with nearly all other aces and just passing on A6-A8o.

Sry, IDK how to edit the centering out of this post.

i dont mind 3 betting a lot of hands here, any ace, suited hands that play well post flop, although witht hose hands maybe flat to see a flop. post flop i would like to see a strong lead bet, maybe 36665 or something repping ak or this may be weak but just a check fold. this is a terrible flop for your hand and this flop hits a lot of his range, basically everything but an underpair and a10, aj this flop smacks in the face. if you just check fold youll be able to bet post flop with more respect next time also, just seems like one of those hands where the more you put in the more your going to lose here.

I'm confused– doesn't this flop hit a lot of hero's 3 bet range as well? Why not cbet?

Have to disagree pretty strongly with playing this hand at all. With deep stacks, and a multi way pot, and with this really small sizing, we don't rate to get folds preflop often, even with the A blocker. Now, we are expecting to play a bloated potentially multi-way pot OOP at a final table with A6o. I think there are many better future spots to be in from a sheer positional standpoint.

Plus we're at a FT, and taking a quick look at stack distribution, I see 3 stacks that should be busting before us most of the time. Even with a flat payout distribution, the $ difference between 9th and 6th would still have to be too great for me to risk busting with A6o in this spot.

Regarding your meta + sizing questions, I think the amazing pot odds and implied odds offered to either Villain would heavily outweigh whatever meta may factor in to the equation.
