Hey all,
Took a bit time off grinding to do some work at my game, came back and picked a bunch of deep runs and some pretty good results lately, 4 very frustrating results last 2 sessions with 2 10th place finishes and 2 9th place finishes, but also managed to grind out a 4th and a 1st in same sessions.
I try and review every session through HEM, may be a little cheeky and forward as I know a lot of top grinders charge, but wondering if any players out there with good MTT experience would be interested in going through some hand history review sessions with me using My hem and maybe Skype team viewer???
I’m relatively honest with myself but obviously it’s always my own views I’m agreeing with myself, be nice to get some others thoughts on different spots to continue progressing my game.
Hopefully get some interest.
Thanks

Hey mate,
I think the reason why your post hasn’t gotten any responses yet is you’re effectively asking for someone to give you something for nothing. We’re all poker players here, so most of us are conditioned to think the idea of giving someone a freeroll is a bad decision. I can’t blame you for asking, but it’s a little difficult for anyone to see the value for them in responding. I think you might be better served by a different approach.
I’d recommend either hiring a coach (for which there would be many benefits beyond simply having someone to analyse your hand histories), or joining a Skype chat group of MTT players who are also looking to learn about the game, and finding a time to discuss hands together, analysing not just your own hands but the hands of the other players as well. This way you’re not committing to the financial cost of hiring a coach, and the discussion that the hands generate is beneficial for everyone involved, instead of just for you.
To put it bluntly, anyone qualified to give you good advice about your game is probably not going to do it for free. Giving something away when you would be perfectly within your rights to charge for it is a bit like checking behind with the nuts on the river. If you want good advice and valuable discussion, you’ll either need to pay for it, or find a place where you and other players can engage in mutual exploration of ideas. Both are great options, so I hope you find something that gives you the chance to develop your game.
Good luck!
Matt
