Ok 7 handed 24 left in stars 90K blinds 10,000/5,000 ante 500 I’m UTG+1 with 21BB with A/Qs. UTG shoves with 16BB, he took a big hit earlier the orbit against a worse hand and had been playing pretty abc poker before that not to out of line. I’m wondering how everyone would handle this situation? I reshoved and lost a race against his 4/4 and went broke next hand.… Thoughts everyone?
seems like you just got unlucky that he flipped over a pocket pair. He could easily have AT here, or even worse. While he is UTG and there is something to be said for that, you are usually ahead of this guy’s range and have to get it in. If someone behind you picks up a hand it’s simply unlucky. I wouldn’t worry about that.
Again, seems like you played it fine.
Thanks, Yea I thought this was a pretty standard reshove for me here I put him shoving 25%-35% range with no monster because he wasnt trying to get cutesy with a little raise. Plus blinds were going up in the next few minutes which would of put him around 10BB. So close yet so far from that five figures!
