Guy is 23/18 over 130 hands I have been very aggresive and won a lot of
small pots w/o showdown. One hand recfently I made a potsized river bet
with the nuts and got called. Villain has made comments in cahat about
how aggro i have been (hand for hand ios in progress now).

Thoughts on all streets and as played.

I like every street.

River seems an easy bet/fold. His line makes perfect sense for 22/44/55. With you having 33 he is not likely to have a straight, which leaves only a bluff or a full house / quads

I see point of the above advice but on the river can we not just check/call a bet depending on sizing?

His river bet is very confusing to me. its 3x pot. Not value raise surely……………or am i missing something?

Yes. It stands to reason that if you are planning to bet/fold then check/call is by far a greater option as he's likely to bet a similar amount.

I like the line from you, I am confused as to what the Villian is trying to represent here. His bet on the flop looks a lot like a position steal to me, so floating him seems like a solid plan, especially since you have a bunch of solid outs. The check behind on the turn doesn't indicate any real strength to me and if he had A3 in that situation (36 doesn't seem plausible given preflop action) why wouldn't he bet again trying to extract max value from you. The river shove just looks so much like he is trying to blow you off the hand. It is almost a 5x overbet of the pot. I suppose a flush is possible, but once again I think someone (especially one who is aggro) would probably bet out that turn to try to get value from you on every street. I think in this case I could make a pretty good case to call this as it looks so much like he is just trying to blow you away and you have a strong holding (my best guess is he hit two pair on the river (A5 would be my guess) or he has a set, but I don't think we are nessecarily beat here.
