I was just wondering what yall thought a good number of tourneys played/yr is? For example a pro player who plays for income would play _____# of tourneys a year? on average. Just would like to have a number to shoot for in general.

Looks like I played about 3,000 in 2010. That was before I was playing full time. So 4,000-5,000 should be no prob.

obv an or thing depending on what you do 4k-5k online OR 100-125 live but no tpe pro should pickup on that, considoring both would be impossible
100 to 125 live tournaments is still a ridiculously high number.
There are five day long WPTs, three day long majors, and every low buy-in event taking two days. There's just not enough days in the year. I think with side events, 50 is a much more realistic number.
