Sb stats would be helpful. i call turn and call non 4,8 rivers. and bet if they check river.

i guess betting flop is ok, problem is MP is virtually never c/c here so we are hoping to get SB involved. HU i prob check this back.

edit: they are not anywhere deep enough to fold, get it in v SB.

if MP wasnt so shallow id prefer a 3b pre tbh. this is kinda one of the nightmares that arise when you flat an open in an $11 and see 4-way flops. i still might even do it relatively frequently if i had a more solid sample size of hands to confirm the 21/20 HUD stats.

as played i GUESS you can find a fold since SB lead out into first to act into a sea of players and then barreled the turn. but next time just save yourself the nightmare and 3b in position pre imo

Don’t really like 3 betting here at all with a hand like kqss that flops well. We have to 3 bet/fold if he jams or 4 bets and it just seems like a waste with this type of hand. The pot is still likely to only go 2-3 ways when we flat with only 2 players left to act and we will have position.

A played I am just getting it in with the sb on the turn given he is a random. He can have worse queens as well as hands like 78 for a pair and a draw. He could have some two pair hands, or maybe 34ss (straight) but I think we definitely have enough equity against his turn donk range to go with the hand.

Right. Too much equity with top pair/good kicker. I think it’s doubtful SB flatted AQ PF, and unlikely he has two pair. Tempted to get it in here, but I’m calling the turn most times for pot control and pretty much calling a river bet/shove most times unless I have a really good reason not to.

If villain checks river, I’m bet/calling.

Agree with others that villian can have worse Q's here or something like 78. He is not near as deep as you, I am getting it in here.

Thanks all. Not results orientated but ended up 5th after AQs<AJ aip so maybe would have had
more chips at ft if I'd gotten it in or maybe busted instead. I'll have to take this chance next time though as it seems pretty unanimous that it wasn't a fold or should have been a raise pre either way.
