Wish you a double up soon and then start crushing. Will be railing!

Thanks for the support, gang. I'll keep plugging away. Don't think I'm going to make a video from the Ante Up, but when I get the chance I'll post a few hands for your amusement as well.

I was on the fence about playing the $1000r Big Ante today, was keeping an eye on the field to see how it developed. For some reason they closed late registration at the start of the break before the end of it, so I didn't get the chance to make a final decision on that. Oh well, probably saved $2050. Currently playing the $100r and $10r, they should make for good sweating because with the big antes people are playing a lot of pots. My screenname is foucault82, for those who don't know.

How about Ben Warrington in the Super KO yesterday, huh?

Here are some of my favorite hands from last night. If you've never played or thought about an Ante Up tournament, you should know that there's no folding in an unraised pot, because you can easily be getting 500-to-1 or better. As a result, it's also common to limp a lot of strong hands in early position – that's how I was playing anyway. The button and blinds are least likely limp/check strong hands in unraised pots, because there are few if any people left to raise behind them. I was especially proud of the first one because it was against Sauce123!

2nd hand is my favorite. i've played this format once before during bovada's cheaper series a few weeks ago. it was off to the side and i don't remember giving it much thought past limp every hand. i imagine limp/doing anything else after telegraphs your hand strength. were you ever able to limp/call and let someone hang themselves? my intuition says that won't get to happen because everyone will be limping and a squeeze likely wasnt sized appropriately to get anyone else out of the pot if an ep limp came along. man these formats are cool.

Ante Up wasnt a big thing when I stillhad access to stars.  Its deifnitely a style weere theres probably huge edges if you understnad certain things about how to approach pre flop.

Foucalt, do you see post flop playing very similar to postflop in other games(ignoring the fact that ranges may be a lot wider due to limped pots being more common)?  At a cursory glance, once you make adjustments to the ranges it seems like post flop is pretty similar.  Preflop is very intriguing though.

I like the first and 3rd hand.  Not entirely sure how I feel about the second, but thats just readless.  I can def see spots whre I like your line.
