Getting value with 18-25 BBs

New to the TPE forum, but I wanted to bring something up for discussion.

Playing midstakes, 3-bet jamming with a smallish-medium stack size is extremely effective for picking up uncontested chips.

But, I find when I have a strong hand, I don't necessarily want to make the same play that gets so many folds. When someone raises late position, you can usually tell when you 3-bet ship, they're rarely calling. So when I have a hand I don't really know what to do to get value.

Obviously situation-dependent, but I'm just wondering what some of you do in this spot when you actually want action on a 3-bet ship.

Sometimes I put in an inviting 3-bet if I have like AA or KK. With other strong hands like JJ, QQ, AK I usually just ship it and just take it down right there and am a little dissatisfied, because nobody is really calling light at midstakes.

Thoughts on these spots?

Your strategy seems pretty sound to me.  If you've been shoving a lot though, i'd just continue to shove.  YOu don't want to give away info wiht your raise size but if you're new to the table or your opponents are not capable of making reads i like your strategy.

you can always flat and check jam flop, but like RFB said stay consistent I like to insta-jam monsters sometimes people will call you liter especially if youre in late position or the blinds like with 8's+ and A/10+ even more so once you move up in stakes.

vs randos and bad players i think flatting AA and KK from 15-20bbs is fine. Wouldn't be doing it against any competent players tho. I'd just ship QQ and AK bc gettin hoodflatted is a strong possibility which puts u in a tough spot and makes u lose value from lower pairs and AK
