So pre I 2.5X the UTG raise, cbet flop and when I hit river I check to take the top part of my range out of his line of thinking and when the second King falls it's pretty hard for him to have something. So I'm wondering can I bet more here and try to get more value, I think a check on the turn really helps with a river call but not sure if I am missing river value.

We can get more value out of these pair hands by betting slightly bigger on the river. 6x, 8x and maybe even A high will pay us off sometimes also

I am betting 100% of my pair range on turn here(assuming a standard range of 3 betting an UTG open). He has very few Kings in his range(only AK), so we can value our JJ-QQ/Kx/AA. The board is very dry so bluffs are not a huge concern for us so we can in general b/f our JJ/QQ and b/c our AK/AA(KQ will be meh spot if it is in your range). My sizing would be on the smaller size to trap in HERO calls. Probably like 40-45k. I think checking is pretty ambitious in terms of value against everyone except bluff fish heavy fish. I think the only reason you got clale in this spot is becuase the river was a King, taking some hands out of your range. However if you bet turn and bet K river, you get more value, so this still wasnt ideal imo.

The only time I thnik this line maximizes EV is when it is in fact minimizing losses, by him river a hand that beats us.

As played on river you should be betting a little bigger. Like 65k. At least half.
