Hey

reads – V has been opening up a ton , seems like a bad player, calls 3-bets a ton too, though they do fold to 3-bet shoves.

thoughts OTF? check shove ok? or any different line that you may prefer?

cheers.

Really dislike check-shove given stack sizes, since you basically never have anything besides naked As when you do that – stacks are just too deep. I think check-calling is probably fine, on blank runouts you can represent a lot of Qx/Jx valuebets and on runouts that complete a straight draw you have enough equity with the As to bluff. You also have more showdown value than you would with the Ks, obviously.

On another note, please stop with the all-caps thread titles everywhere. Just a simple description of the spot will do fine.

well tbf we are not really deep only around 25bb effective..but yeah chk/shoving may make our hand pretty face up, which is shoving with a flush draw. There’s not much they could do about it though , if they have a hand like KJ/JT , they’re are probably going to fold, so we do have some fold equity here. V calling range will Qx and maybe even a draw as well.

what else are you c/c here with? Qx Jx , strongest part of your range A2ss you’re likely to c/c , as for QJ/Q5s/J5s i’m assuming you’re c/r gii? and if u do you could balance that by check shoving your flush draws here as well.

i would not hate c/c here with your draw otf though since you may decide to play a hand like A2ss this way.

sorry for the all-caps thread titles, i sometimes get carried away, or just a bit to excited 🙂
