i wasnt in this hand but it was on my table blinds 60/120 huge stack opens mp with 21,000 chips,

button calls flop 842 rainbow huge stack pre flop raiser leads for 3.6k into a pot of like 630, button caller has 9k chips, if u had a8 suited here youve flopped top pair what do you do facing 3.6k flop bet?

Yea risking 3600 to win 4230 isn't a great plan. In a cash game you would be risknig 3.6k to win 4.2k so you would need o win around 85% time. Against range of overpairs, sets and the odd bluff – Opponent would need to be bluffing an awwfull lot and even then its not worth it as chips in tourneys are worth more than cash games.

The guy was probably bluffing but its just not worth it in these situations. If the players are that bad, just check-call with a stronger hand like AK on K54 and watch him spew off his stack laugh

lol the guy who bet 3.6k on flop had 1010 and caller on button shoved 9k over 3.6k flop bet with a8 lol,

1010 held and he won huge pot, but this is micros i doubt ud ever get paid off doing that in big tourny lol,

pretty funny though.

snap fold, would only play back with sets, fold everything else.. Maybe shove Kings/Aces if they guy looks like a fish who overbets the pot like this. (>$30 mtt's I'd prolly fold my aces and kings this deep.. rebuy mtt's are an exception)
