Villain was 35/29 over only 31 hands, but had been v active and didn't believe I was behind pre.

Don't
think I took the best line here, but my thinking was to try and take it
away from him on any kind of favourable flop – 2 overs and a gut shot
seemed favourable enough.  He had cbet 4 out of 5 times, so figured I'd
get a fold a decent amount of times.

Better to 3bet to 1855 and fold to shove?

3bet shove pre?

or fold pre and wait for better spot? (AQ in pos against loose opener seems a good spot…)

If the guy is opening this much i definitley 3bet pre hoping to take it down there. Problem is the sizing because he 4x it prolly trying to isolate the limper.

In all honesty i probably shove it in, a regular 3 bet would be around 2k but thats 1/3 of your stack and plus you wouldn't be folding to a shove anyway.

It is an awkward spot because of the stacks…

Flatting 4x raises isnt ideal, def if you only have 31bb. If you think villain is opening light then I'd rather 3bet ai, but with so many players left to act behind you it's a risky play. But i'd rather 3betshove here than just flat 4x for over 10% of your stack. or just fold.

How much was villain raising before this hand? 2x, 3x or has he been raising 4x the whole time? If he had been raising 3x the whole time and now suddenly he opened 4x from ep i'd be wary villain has a monster hand.
