(Have to say that I spent a lot of time on a post, but upon hitting submit the forum messed up and lost the post again–frustrating!)

This is another ACR $11 freezeout.

No reads on villain other than his hud stats 27/18/4.

I don’t believe this is a particularly difficult fold on the river, but upon review, villain’s turn line has me wondering.

Is his turn bet consistent with Jx? I’m not sure what he would be targeting unless he expects me to call with non broadway Ax that I checked the flop with.

Playing Kx this way does make more sense, and he has more targets to get thin value from.

Raising the turn didn’t seem like a credible option to me in the moment. I wonder if raising small to get value from KQ/KJ/AJ may be an option, or is it usually safe for us to get a street of value from those on the river.

Thank you for your thoughts!

Easy fold, and you probably should bet flop and/or raise turn. I’m curious why a turn raise didn’t seem like an option?

I suppose it wasn’t clear to me what I’d be getting value from. Are there enough pair plus combo draws to get stacks in?

Yes, if I checked the flop to induce action on the turn, I got what I wished for.
