Villain in the co had been opening a good amount, villain in the sb was terrible limp calling and playing a lot of hands pre and playing bad post.

Thoughts on action on all streets and sizing? Double barrel turn?

I don’t play any differently, maybe 3bet a little larger. I don’t double barrel because it’s for all your chips. Like the cbet size.

Pretty sick if he checks a hand that beats you on that river.

lol @ 36

lets summarise his great play

– calls a button open from SB holding 36!

– calls a 3bet OOP holding 36!

– check calls a flop bet OOP with bottom pair awful kicker!

– checks his 2 pair turn when he should be taking our top hands to value town!

– again checks his 2 pair on a river that also hits our range and he should be value towning us!

just gotta love players like this who give us their chips when they have a weak hand and underplay it when they're strong

pretty perfect play by us if you ask me though

^^++

because you're oop a 3bet of 3-4x is better so villain(s) dont get proper odds to flat ip.

I dont love the shove on the river. Although the villian played this awful and super weird, we are not getting a 2/3 pot all-in shove called unless we are beat. There are many reasons to think we are good here, so if you think you are good then a value bet would be a lot smaller. Dont think we are ever getting the all-in called unless we are beat. The way the hand played out and even with that river card hitting us, I am checking back this river and seeing the showdown.

I'm kinda torn on shoving river and checking it back.  I can't think of a ton of hands in his calling range that we beat here.  I think I actually lean towards a really small value bet on river something like 6k because he's never going to check raise bluff this river.  He will probably call you with hands that he wouldn't call a 2/3 pot river shove.

Yeah i think a blocker/slash vbet on the river is good….although i had identified the villain as a huge station thats why i shoved was actually expecting to get called with worse and went for max value?

it really sucks that he checks his 2 pair on the river and doesnt lead out b/c he like shouldnt really have a hand that beats us when he does this…

i do think though after seeing his terrible play that he's probably calling the river with worse than 2 pair so i dont mind jamming as opposed to checking it behind

You must value bet here on the river against this opponent. It’s easy to say ‘check the river’ after you see what hand he has, but this guy is misplaying his hands so bad, it’s illogical to think your not getting value from his worse hands here. The guy doesn’t fold….
