Big stack just moved to table. Hw was +$20k winner on FT and good +ROI. He took almost full time bank. I thought AK was likely, maybe QQ.

Here is my 2 cents fwiw…

Hand #1 I would probably fold  because  if we play we are getting it in pre due to his bet size and he will be calling.  The cold 4bet is strong but again it would be a good move against a button open and what looks like a steal from the SB.  All  that being said we are probably in a race situation if we play the hand.

Hand #2 is a great flop for us and we want to get it in but I have a nasty feeling he spikes a bigger set.

Hand 1 – I did fold – I dont  think JJ is going to be ahead here very often.

Hand 2 – I was really surprised to see he had 55. He spiked an A on the river to complete the straight vs my set.

Really thought my raise to t3640 looked much stronger than a push considering my stack size. Maybe it was a mistake not shoving – can't see him calling the shove.

I have a feeling there were some other dynamics involved with his play. He may have thought he had some  fold equity for a couple of reasons.

If he had looked up stats of the players on the table, it was obvious by those stats that I sat'd in. Also, a couple of the other better players on the table were pounding my opening raises by pushing their 15-25 bb stacks and I was forced to raise/fold a few times.

Maybe he thought I was bad enough that I would fold, even after I had one third of my stack in after the flop raise. Just speculating, though.
