Thought i'd better post a hand instead of commenting on everyone elses for a while

Not that interesting though

I've seen this villain earlier min raise from UTG and call 3way all in with 67o (and no he didnt have odds to call either)

Given that this is FT (pay jumps are big) and there a 2 micro stacks – anyone folding here?

Good time for a stop-n-go?

Or just get it in run good?

given that his 67o UTG open was a minraise, this open to almost 3x looks stronger plus theres no chance he's folding to your 8bb shove.

Turbos play so much differently for me at around 5-15bb compared to regular tourneys. Yeah you only have 8bb but a double up puts you into 3rd overall, so your not so desperate just yet. Plus like you said pay jumps are huge and there's 2 shorties with M's of less than 1.

In the heat of the moment i most likely would shove. That said i probably prefer a little bit more patience and fold – retaining what fold equity I have hoping to get an opportunity to open shove close to any 2 cards in the next few hands.

Villain is obv never folding here and w two stacks left in severe jeopardy I'd prolly fold and avoid the flip or being dominated. If you say he's been minraising the whole time and now he's opening nearly 3x utg screams of a monster hand.

Although there are two 3bb stacks left, they can still double up and leave you as the shortstack. In a hyper mtt you can easily come back from a few blinds and still win it. So making the cautious fold here w 8bb left isnt as nitty as in a normal FO.

Just don't think you're (way) ahead of his range here and often crushed.

With the raise in front as the others said this is prob. a fold. If unopened you could jam it.

yeah in the heat of the moment the one thing that stood out in my mind was his 67o play previously and i called

really need to have as clear a mind as possible in crucial situations like this that potentially decide the difference between a $80 payday and a $1200 one

use up my timebank and think it over thoroughly next time
