Figured I'm getting just enough implied odds to set mine, but once flop comes wondering if I should shove over his cbet.

Thinking there are a lot of pocket pairs better than 66s that are opening from utg+1, as well as the obv overs that he folds or gets in behind….

ghanges checks, rattiggy bets t2475, ghanges requests TIME, ghanges ???

fold pre, villain's raiseing 4x which screams of strenght and you're not deep enough to setmine. To setmine you shouldnt call more than 5% of your stack and you should have 15-1 implied odds on your call. So lets' say villain raises 200 and has 3000 behind and you started the hand w 4000 or more, that's a good situation to setmine.

In this case you're calling off more than 10% of your stack and you're only gettting 9-1 implied odds if you hit your set.

So def fold pre and as played def fold flop.

^^^^^ +

Plus there are four stacks shorter than you. Perfect spot to release pre and chill out a little while until a couple of pple bust.

BTW, what tourny is this where its the FT and the blinds and antes are so low?

agreed its a fold pre. you have to call 845 and you have around 8500k remaining after the call. so you can only win 10 times your investment and your out of position.

I would be looking for a stack of around 13000k+ to be able to win in excess of 15 times my initial investment if i hit.

On the flop you have 24%ish equity against overpairs (6 outs – 4 gutshot and 2 set). What are the chances he bets pot on the flop with just overcards? any reads on him, is he betting this size often? is he opening this size often? is he cbetting often?

fold pre as stated. shoving flop only gets called by hands that beat us?  maybe ak/aq with a backdoor diamond draw?

Definitely fold pre. No need to spew chips in these pots that are way overbet.

I agree with just about everyone that folding pre is the best option here.  We don't have the proper implied odds to be just set mining here.  I also would just fold to his pot sized c-bet as we are only getting called by hands that have us crushed.
