This is the 7th hand at the FT. Big stack is 50/0 over 8 hands and 15BB flat is 0/0 over 7 hands so impossible to deduce much at all. Would you shove or fold in this spot? How does ICM affect our decision?

This is a strong hand considering you are pretty short stacked and don't have a ton of options. I would jam it and hope to double up. No sense waiting around for what could be, gotta take the opportunities ya got!

Thanks for the responses guys. I know from a chip equity point of view this is a clear shove with 19 BBs, but I'm still unsure of how ICM and other factors affect our $ equity here. Can anyone shed any light on the subject?

SitNGo Wiz says to push with KK+.

But I understand that it is correct to disregard ICM considerations at times if your fe will be further reduced by the soon to be rising blinds and antes.

Yeah I had SitNGo Wiz as shoving QQ+, so clearly 99 is a fold since our $eV doesn't increase enough if we shove here. I still don't know…

Maybe I should get SNGWiz because this looks like a shove to me.

Theres a lot of questions about these spots lately. Myself i post like 3 a day lololol.

I saw yesterday a great vid on FTP poker academy by Jon Turner, just great about M zones.

I can make a quick resume of it, just cuz I found it very interesting.

M=20 you have all kind of poker available to you

M=10-20 stop calling raises with small pairs, for me 22-77 for a set, if u hit top pair with a decent kicker or have an over pair to the board you should be willing to play for stacks

M= 5 – 10 Perfect 3bet shove stack, and you should not open raise hands you cant call a 3 bet (Im guessing here means not to open KQ, AJ, 88,A10 , not fully sure depends what u like.)

M<5 open shove

In SitNGo Wiz I changed the original raiser to be the utg stack of 28k chips, a stack that will fold much more often than the 108k stack I would think,  and changed the action of the big stack to fold and the butt to fold and it comes up with the same reshoving range for hero's 99:  QQ+, I must have made some kind of mistake the first time when I got KK+.

That means Wiz does not take into consideration the fe hero's stack will have with 99 vs diff size stacks. Is that right?
