We’re about halfway through the 800/1600 level. I’ve been at this table for about ten hands. I have about 37k at this point.

Older guy in MP bets his standard open of 4100. Guy next to him calls. And it folds around to me with AJo in the BB.

Not a ton of reads, but I’ve seen the old guy open at least twice to 4100 since i sat down. It seems him and the guy to his left have been mixing it up. Old guy has about 45k in chips and the caller has somewhere around 40k.

Is this an obvious shove or should I just call the extra 2500 to see the flop?

I don't like “calling the extra 2500” here because we are only 23 BB's deep. I almost always pile here as we more than likely will pick up over 10k uncontested. The only way I don't pile this here is if original opener has been nitting sweaters (which doesn't sound like the case) or if flatter is capable of flatting to induce (which is unlikely as well). Rip it in!

I'm jamming here as well.  If they both fold we add 10k to our stack which increases it by about 25%.  I don't think they guy next to him is flatting to trap often at all so as long as we get through the opener we are normally good here.  Like Casey says even when we do get called unless they have aces which is unlikely with us having an ace we always have at minimum 3 live outs as well.
